Well, I know it's safe to say we all listen to some form of Asian music, but I was wondering something. Aside from the U.S. and various places in Asia, are there any other countries you listen to music from?

I have a few. I'll list the country and an example.

Russia - t.A.T.u.
Australia - Our Best Laid Plans, The Living End
Denmark - Mew
Netherlands - Tiësto
U.K. - Marbles, Apples in Stereo

Like I said, I was just wondering. I'd like to see what else is out there.

Netherlands - Tiësto

^Yes! The Netherlands along with Scandinavia have some of the best techno music in my opinion...and I love my techno #thumbup

I'd have to note Daft Punk as well though. Although they have relative fame, they are from France...So, yeah. I think I shall go listen to Discovery now...way to go Twilly, I blameth you. :ragna:

I listen to lots of UK/Canadian/Rastafarian music although I will accredit the U.S. with some great songs! I agree with many previous posters for Coldplay, etc. and also Sum 41 from Canada. Let's mind the Biebs, hm!
And I did not know t.A.T.u was from Russia!

U.K. primarily: Brother, The King Blues, The Specials, Gorillaz, Random Hand, Howards Alias, Sonic Boom Six..
Jamaica also :)

Since this topic has risen again, I would like to mention the Corrs, who are from Ireland. Their instrumental pieces are great!

Natalie MacMaster is also great, eh?
