New Pokemon Game

With the announcement of a new pokemon game thats the creators have said that it will be an new pokemon experience.I wanted to create this thread to see what improvements you think they should do to the original pokemon games and bring them to the new one.

To me are the graphics if you look at the graphics at any pokemon game and compare it to pokemon rangers game youll see how awesome pokemon rangers looks and animates.To me they should bring that back.

There isn't enough space on a DS card for that many continents.
The reason why Kanto in GSC was lacking so much was again, due to space on a Gameboy Cart, if you want that they would have to put it on a Wii Disc

It needs a new continent, 191 new Pokemon and aother strange gym order. Plus, a new type of Battle Frontier that will trump Sinnoh/Johto's and Hoenn's.

A link to Hoenn would be a twist too, making it the second batch of games to have 16 badges and 2 Pokemon League bouts.

Its due at the end of 2010, so sometime between September and December, my guess is around the same time they released DP and HGSS

I'm already aware that Hoenn is a continent in of itself. Actually, technically that's all theory. Hoenn could indeed be part of a bigger land mass.

I think the mass of water surrounding Hoenn says otherwise, no offense, but I think the only way to get to Hoenn would be boat or flight

All I ask for are gym leaders / elite 4 whose pokemon are at the same level as those in your party. For that matter all trainers should have pokemons levels determined by what level your party is at.

I think the obvious fan made map counteracts that statement.

That isn't an official map, it doesn't hold well in saying it is indefinitely surrounded completely by water.

Of course, side games don't take place in Japan, as far as I know. I think Orre is actually Arizona or something like that. Definitely an American based region.

Another thing i want is for them to fix the sound of every pokemon come on they still use the original sounds of the first pokemon games on the old pokemons in the new games all that needs to get remade

Yeah, I'd agree there. Using their old Pokemon sounds is pretty lame, they could support the VAs going in and saying their name now..twice. One for being sent out, one for fainting.

Yah, first thing that came to my mind was Lucario. I'm not so hot on the design but if it's a fire pokemon I support. d('_'d) Far'fetched looks amazingly hardcore.

I must say though I called it when I said "Z" wasn't a Legendary, unless he's the first of his kind
