Folks, crowdfunding must now be recognized as a force in the development of anime; Little Witch Academia and Under the Dog are two examples that spring immediately to mind. Well, Steve Ahn has just launched a Kickstarter campaign for his latest project, Blossom Detective Holmes, an animated mini-series about two young female detectives in Victorian Stockholm. The pilot episode (which has already been out for a bit) is great fun, and even more is promised--if the funding materializes. I missed out on Little Witch Academia, but was part of funding Under the Dog; I'm already aboard for this ride, and wanted to make sure everyone here knew about the project.
