Gundam Unicorn (And other Gundam related talk)

[Zero Gravity]

"Gundam Unicorn" is a story during the time line of the the Universal Century, it takes place 3 years after the events of the theatrical film "Char's Counterattack" in 0096 (Double O, Ninety-Six).

I'm a little fuzzy as to the conflict in Gundam Unicorn (as I've been saving the story for when the anime was announced about a year ago, or whenever "Gundam 00 S2" ended).

Currently the Blue Ray is avalible on amazon for $35, a little pricey for only an hours worth, but if your like me (a scary mix of a nerd for "Pokemon", "Gundam", "Kingdom Hearts" and "Sonic the Hedgehog")

I've been sort of a Gundam stranger to be honest.

I enjoyed Gundam Wing a lot back in the day, it was a good anime no doubt. Then a series like Gundam SEED Destiny comes along, that I really didn't enjoy.

I'm not sure where I stand on Unicorn right now. I might have to give it a spin though because to be honest I have been a bit eager about it's release, I'll probably wait a while to purchase it though, maybe wait for a box set of some sort, I don't think I'm in too much of a hurry.

Actually the only Gundam series that I've liked is Gundam Seed. Not a big fan of Wing and 00 was just terrible imo.

Seed was the first Gundam series I watched so that probably has something to do with it. I tried to go back and watch Wing and the art is typical 90's art which I don't really like. Gundam 00 I dropped early on cus I was just bored to death with it. I can see why the people that like Wing would also like 00. They are very similar compared to Seed which is much different.

Wing dragged it on, like, I thought Episode 5 was episode 10-ish because of the detail, but it got worse as it went on, it just seemed o go no where especially with the constant change in power.

SEED was all the previous series mixed into one, and "00 S2" was a nod to Zeta

I like Gundam mostly double o and wing but G Gundam was good to.The whole Unicorn thing is kinda making me think this one wont be very good.

I watched Gundam SEED and Destiny and 00.

Gundam 00 was good, but they killed Lockon Stratos and Setsuna never changed expression. Like ever. But I liked the "God does not exist in this world" thing he kept saying.

SEED was good. Destiny was just like, Shinn, GET THE FREAK OVER YOURSELF. You're not the only one who lost family. Mature a bit and realize that destroying stuff like an idiot is not a good way to live life.

But yeah, I'll check Unicorn out. Looks like it has potential.

I've watched almost all the Gundam non-UC series, except Turn A, and I've liked them all. I don't want to watch Unicorn just yet though, because I haven't watched much UC, and I plan to watch the UC series from the beginning.

I need to get into Gundam. I remember watching a few varied episodes of Wing as a kid, and I've got the first UK volume of 00 (which I really like, need to pick up the rest). Unicorn looks really good, so I will have to check that one out at some point. Alongside all the old series, especially as they're really cheap over here atm..
