First off, let's talk animation, frickin' gorgeous in this episode. I don't know if the animation director changed or what, but the expressions was amazing and the hair being blown by the wind was to die for.

This episode was just so impactful. That click sound for the knife was done so well and it had a creepy factor. I loved it so much. When Mariko went after that bully it was amazing. Ugh, next episode please.

Oh yeah, the quality was definitely up more than a notch, and SO much happened. It was obvious that there were problems in Mariko's home life and it was kind of obvious that it had to do with the father being absent, so divorce makes sense. Mariko being a badass was AWESOME, but I'm sad she didn't get that evil person better. I hope that if anything else it stops her being such a terrible person out of fear if nothing else.
