This episode finally led up to what I was saying. Miya "confessed" to Nanako in an effort to get her away from Henmi, thinking they're lovers. It's obvious Nanako doesn't see Henmi that way and vice verse.

However, Rei coming in to save the day was remarkable. It made me hope he could get past his obsession with Miya, but then I realized from the episode preview this might not be the case.

That was just really surreal for sure. I mean, first Miya is trying to molest Nanako, then Juste saves her, but only so she can have an "indirect kiss" by kissing the same spot Miya did? That's DOUBLE creepy.
