For those of you who haven't heard Maon Kurosaki before, her voice is amazing. She sounds a bit like Haruna from Scandal on some of her songs but not as strained (I hope Haruna takes more time off between shows to rest her awesome voice!)
Anyways, Maon Kurosaki made her debut on Highschool of the Dead OST which featured the end themes of all 12 episodes from the series. Yes, 12 different songs were created by the same artist for one anime! I don't think I've ever seen anything like it in other anime.
The music is perfect for the series. Dark, mysterious, powerful with glimmers of hope.
She's released a few albums since and is a member of the band Altima which is a collaborative effort with fripSide's Satoshi Yaginuma, who is the composer and producer and Move's Mototaka Segawa as the rapper while she provides main vocals.
