Hey, any other Trigun fans out there? Are you aware that they just released a new Trigun movie called Badlands Rumble? Have you gotten your copy yet? I have. . .#shockzune

Now, see, this is what I'm talking about when I lament the things I miss when I wander off. . .was totally unaware of this article--but love it now!

I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't really about Vash. He was basically the "celebrity" they used as the poster or the front of the movie. They focused more on the new characters that were introduced into the movie has the main plot mostly with Vash somehow getting invloved in the mix. I'm not saying its a bad thing or makes the movie horrible, I really enjoyed the movie and was nice to to see Vash and the crew return after a decade! They did a great job keeping the spirit of the original through out the movie!

I've seen things like this happen with other sorts of movies. Like this one "jackie chan" movie I rented once that had him in the movie for a grand total of 5 minutes.

Remember, guys, that this same phenomenon was part of the original series. Vash the individual was almost always playing against Vash the legend, often to the point of seeming incidental. . .

I've heard about it, but I haven't seen it yet. Picked up the Funi re-release of the series not long ago.

Yeah, I always loved the humor in Trigun, and the movie stayed true to that despite other "adjustments."

You know, I hadn't really thought about people who hadn't seen the original. Obviously I can only hope it makes a lasting impression like the original did to new fans out there.
