View Full Version : Artist or Anime Soundtrack Rules

So it's come to a lot of staffers' attention that some of you don't seem to grasp the concept behind the Requested Artists or Anime Soundtrack thread.

This is not a song request system, this is not where you request a song to be played on the radio, if you request a song in here that we already have, your POST will be DELETED and we will LAUGH at you.

Not to mention, A LOT of you have been requesting single songs, or single CDs.

You are supposed to request an ENTIRE ARTIST or ENTIRE ANIME SOUNDTRACK.

This includes EVERY song by the artist and EVERY album.

NOT SINGLE SONGS. #hand

Kana DELETES any posts that ONLY REQUEST SINGLE SONGS.

If you want a song by that artist, request THE ARTIST THE SONG IS BY, not the song.

If we have an artist, Kana keeps on top of everything they release, as soon as Girl's Generation releases a new single, Kana gets it. These should not be requested ANYWAY since you're not supposed to request SINGLE CDs.

Do we understand? Do we REALLY UNDERSTAND?

Hey Kana great reminder - so..like... artists that were requested like months and months ago that aren't yet in the music db should we just go ahead and request them again? Or should I just assume they won't be added for whatever reason.

The thread is locked. For about two weeks I said I was gonna lock the thread when it reached page thirty (which it has). I'll be re-tallying the thread, and then re-open it. Please continue to request what you want to hear if we don't have it. Every time something is re-requested it adds a point to that artist and bumps it up the list.

Make sure to read the rules, as you can not double post, wait until someone else makes a request/post after yours, then feel free to request again.

This is a situation that has happened legit once in two years. So it's very rare that we don't, but if you suspect we do just PM me.

Ok i have just found out you guys dont have songs by Puffy, (or Puffy Ami Yumi as you crazy Americans call them). would be nice if they were on the radio.
