Fanime 2011 runs from May 27th to May 30th and takes place at San Jose McEnery Convention Center. It's the biggest con in northern California.

My roommate said he'd be willing to road trip down for Fanime with me. I'm not sure if he would still be down. This one chat room I frequent was trying to organize a sort of mini-get-together at Fanime this year.

I live in So-Cal but a couple of my friends are going this year to participate in the artist alley thing. I was planning on going at first but it's a pretty expensive trip for a money strapped college student.

Voice Actor Tohru Furuya is coming to Fanime!

He did voice for Amuro Ray from Mobile Suit Gundam and Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon!

All the mecha-nerds (me included) and fan girls will be flocking to him.
