Guess, I never paid much attention until now.

Basically, you can get your own content posted on the site.

It is actually a good way to show people your stuff and get feedback too!

Interesting, maybe when I have something important enough to be posted somewhere I might think about it.

Another way is whenever you buy something from one of The Fan's sponsors, tell them if was because The Fan told you about them. This way, they'll think, "The Fan really does attract people who will buy stuff from me! I should continue advertising on the Fan!"
