Hey guys!

So do you every branch out into British Shows at all? I was just wondering because I wanted to see what, if any, you guys liked to watch and to see if there were any that I should check out. If you haven't ever really had much experience with British TV stuff, here're some of my favourites (in order of favourit-ness):

1. Are You Being Served?
2. Coupling
3. Inbetweeners
4. Fawlty Towers
5. I.T. Crowd
6. Monty Python's Flying Circus

What do you guys say? #wut

Fell in love with Monty Python ages ago. But became hopelessly devoted to BBC with Tom Baker's portrayal of Doctor Who. You have a great list, but don't forget Black Adder! (And Rumpole of the Bailey. . .)

Mock The Week is gold. I don't know if it's still on, someone showed it to me when I told them I like 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?'

Really? What's it about?

It's an improv comedy show, except they use current events as their basis. It's a lot like Whose Line, it even has the same producers and often features some of Whose Line's performers.

Last of the summer wine makes me want to look forward to retiring and getting into a lot of misadventures!
Along with are you being served that whole cast just steals the show especially Mr. Humphries!

That sounds pretty cool. How current is it?

Not gonna lie, never got into Dr.Who. Too much back story to catch up on just turned me off of it.

Well, after all, it is a serial that started in the 1960's. Catching up on all that backstory could be a little intimidating. ;p

Umm I dont like to say it, but British TV sucks... I know because I am Brit...
Over the holidays there was NOTHING on that was christmassy or happy.
We had Alphred Hitchcocks The Birds and Rear Window on TV on Christmassy eve...
The only Christmas thing was Buddy the Elf that was repeated over several times during the holidays...
sure there are some good things like simpsons or futurama... but seriously theres nothing on...

Count your blessings! Here in the States, they start broadcasting Christmas specials in October! (Can you imagine how sick of it all folks are by December?)

I like BBC, and some things like Primevil and Dr. Who. actually there are a few sci-fi shows I like, but beyond that I havn't watched much from Britian. Monty Python and Mock the Week are Golden comedy. I don't have tv so most of my watching things is via online or Netflicks.

hmm, curious... Maybe, like, it gets sieved in Britain so really only the things others see are the better things? :ideedopen:

I actually got Spaced box set for Christmas, I was pretty happy.

No joke, Most everything I've come into contact with Simon Pegg has been pretty cool. Except "Run Fatboy Run"... but I don't talk about that... #ha don't really know why either.
