STEP 1: Plan a Schedule!

http://img4.gelbooru.com//images/808/4283c4821b4fdb57fa6ee27158d6f9c2.jpeg?957391

It's always good to make a schedule! Plan your route! Plan the times you leave and when you come back! Halloween is a great night for treats, but also tricks, you never know who you would run into!

STEP 2: Go with a group!
http://img4.gelbooru.com//samples/808/sample_b9d15aa50731accabfc3812f381e1ca2.jpeg?95648 0

Never go alone! Go with a familiar adult (Preferably a parent, relative, friends). Halloween is NEVER fun alone! It's also safe!

STEP 3: AVOID Strangers
http://img4.gelbooru.com//images/794/1b2c42f56ba3dffcb29c144eefcae004.jpeg?936819

Avoid unfamiliar (and creepy) strangers. You don't know them and you don't know what they're plotting to do! Children are OK to talk to, but don't talk to strangers! If an Adult is doing something other then giving you a candy, BOOK IT!

STEP 4: Enjoy your Halloween!
http://img4.gelbooru.com//samples/796/sample_49f357dbf9549447fc36519651fb9b3e.jpg?939324

Once you have your candy and are done ringing doorbells head home or to your friend's house! Call your parents and assure them your safety, people do crazy things on Halloween and provides a peace of mind!. Kick back, watch movies, and eat your candy!

Tis one of the greatest holidays of all time...

OF ALL TIME! #noelrage

Seriously though...I miss trick or treating ever so much...It is still fun to dress up...but it doesn't have the same special feeling it did as a child...so it will always be cherished by me :awesome:

(Also, those caramel apple lollipops are farkin delicious #poplar)

I LOVE BANETTE! (Doesn't have the same ring to it...>.>)

I always wanted to trick or treat even when I grew up. I'd do it now honestly, but that's also something you wanna do with friends, too. It'd suck to go trick or treating alone, haha.

I'm a little old to go out myself, and I'm too poor to make/buy a costume, but I do get to siphon my brother's candy since he's allergic to almost all of it. I am going to a Halloween party tomorrow though apparently, where I'm told that I will be turned into a zombie

I've never really understood it. It's a cultural thing I guess. I'm also wondering why kids celebrate it here too, seeing as it's an American thing.

Alas, I'm stuck working. But I did buy plenty of candy for my wife to hand out. (She won't do it, of course, since Halloween doesn't really exist as such in the Philippines. My son will end up handing it out, but that's okay, seeing as how we Irish invented the celebration. . .) Good rules--kudos!

Halloween is meant to be creepy...I do not get why you cannot go out to have fun just cause you are older...that is a dumb law #seiba

Quick, practical, and very sad reason: kids are looking for candy, (relatively) older folks might (MIGHT) be looking for victims (scoping the premises or even the residents). Sorry folks, but it is a real concern.

Kana, if I'd known you'd wanted to go Trick-or-Treating, I'd of gone with you. >< I'm sure Ceru would of come along , too. Unfortunately for me, I did not have the funds for a costume this year, so I am gonna miss a party I was invited to. Oh well, Candy Corn goes on sale tomorrow. Time to stock up! #canhas

It was just another Sunday for us here. Me, Soul, Tabs, and Splint went to Monkey's place and we just played Guilty Gear and BlazBlue until 2am. Didn't get any kids knocking on the door, but I did see one house (only one) which had been decorated "festively" for the occasion: Hanging from a tree in the front-yard were a bunch of toddler-sized dolls strung up by their necks, with blood squirted all over them. What made it effective was that there was a police car out front.

Funnily enough. On my way back home, I was stopped at a set of traffic lights with the Halloween kids and teens waiting to cross the intersection. Had the black get-up and the imitation blood and all that jazz. They looked the part, so I graciously decided to give them the appropriate background music while they waited: Death Metal. I lol'd at their reaction.

One has to wonder what kind of parents they have to let them stay out at 2:30am, but whatever.
