I coded a Brie bot for the irc channel (using the pirc framework).

Current functions are: .time, .radio, .nowplaying, and various commands related to Twilly's scramble game.

Functions still being coded: None, at the moment.

Anyway, if anyone has questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to discuss them here. (But please note: No functions suggested will be coded into the bot unless approved by staff.)

What about timed reminders? Can brie tell the time every hour on the hour?

That's a bit hard to do, actually, EE. I'd need to manually trigger that script, because it only calculates the time when the script is called, since I'm not implicitly running a thread (and personally, I'd rather not).

I'd have to code quite a bit more if you wanted that function. >.>' Anyway.....

Can I request that you make Brie make a list of the last played feature for only two songs at most? you know, like the .nowplaying feature but something like= .lastplayed or I don't know...

Request an artist and direct them to the request an artist thread. Someone says Fanatic and they get a handy link to where to buy a Fanatic sub. Someone says shirts and they get a link to a SharkRobot store. :)

Would a random number roller be useful? For example, I could message Brie 1d100 and she would say "Kayarath got a 56 out of 100" or something like that. I don't think that would be hard to code at all but I'm not sure it would be well used.

A help command would be nice. It could explain all the commands the bot has.

What about an "ask Brie how she's doing button"?

So, it'd be like .howareyou and then it could randomly choose from among a few adjectives and give her some more life.

This was influenced by Kayarath's dice roll suggestion.

It's totally just a suggestion, I'm not saying it's necessary or anything, but I think it's a cool idea.

We need a .chocobo button.

It would be similar in function to .gee, but would only work while Crazy Chocobo is playing.

It would pick a random lyric from the song to post. There are so few lyrics that this should be feasible.
