New Berserk Anime Project

The wraparound jacket band on the 35th volume of Kentarou Miura's Berserk manga is announcing this month that a new anime project is launching. More information will be provided in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine and the affiliated Young Animal Web site.

I think that just about anything will be better than the troll of the ending that the first series gave us after...

Griffith turns into a demon despite the fact that no mention of any other behlits existing ever and then he rapes Casca right in front of Guts after he's lost an eye and cut of his own arm to escape another demon.

And then it ends. No explanation. No closure. Just the end. I love Berserk, but damn that's messed up.

It was a pretty bada** series. I wonder if it'd be a proper continuation, or just another retelling of the story? Either or, as long as they don't change the Opening and Ending songs, it's all good by me.
