Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector

For Mecha fans this is an awesome series, it follows the OG series and will feature original mechs from the Japanese only release game.

It will be airing in Japan starting October 3rd and will even be simulcasted on Crunchyroll the same day it plays in Japan.

I never played the OG series but did play a few of the other series, but this being a Bandai/sunrise production series its A+

has anyone else watch the first two episodes of Super Robot Wars? (http://www.crunchyroll.com/super-robot-wars) i jacked my friends Ipad on the trip to New York comic con and streamed it so I can watch it on the road XD.

Story and animation are a plus and the characters work pretty well to give me my Mecha fill as well as Star driver.

What do you guys think of the series?

Its based on the SRWOG games. Kind of like a very confusing Gundam with fan service. I've watched the first 3 eps and still don't have any idea what's going on. But it doesn't help that this is basically a second season, the first one was Super Robot Wars OG: Divine Wars that came out 3yrs ago.

you dont have to watch or have played any of the previous stuff since usually the stories are all original like Final Fantasy series, where there are times they cross its not crucial thou in anyway.

Its a simple pick up and the series starts with alot of the info and just grows, just think of it like a gundam series and go watch Super Robot Wars OG (http://www.crunchyroll.com/super-robot-wars)

I watched the first episode of this and then dropped it. I've played a game before and I love mecha anime, but I found the first episode to be soooo boring. =/
