Cave Story (http://www.miraigamer.net/cavestory/index.php) is a marvelous game. For those of you unfamiliar, it was first released in 2004 as a freeware game for PC. The gameplay is similar to a Metroid style game - it's a platformer where your goal is to go around collecting items and upgrades. However, it's got a deeper story than your typical Metroid game. I personally like this game almost as much as Super Metroid (which is my favorite non-RPG of all-time). Also, it was recently re-released for WiiWare with enhanced graphics, but I can't get that version since I don't have a Wii. You all should download and play Cave Story for PC, since it IS a freeware game.

Cave Story Wii ver. has many extra feature which I think is worth buying it and supporting the company
it has the remake(Wii) and original graphic(Pc). also has the remake of the music, which imo I say its one of the best game music i ever heard. Boss rush, a Sanctuary time attack mode. And my fav. which you get to play through the game as Curly Brace. Cave Story is one of my Fav. game, even though I have already beat the game, I still come back to play some moar, for those who have a Wii, you will totally love Cave Story for the WiiWare. Go buy it!

HUZZAH! (OH YEAH! if you like this translation) Someone talking about Cave Story it seems. I recommend that anyone that has either a Wii or a PC, play this game! I played this thrice and still is very good.
