Alright Since not many of you have heard of League of Legends I'd figure I'd make this post to see if i could get some of you to start playing. Alright Leauge of legends is a game much like the warcraft 3 custom game Dota, It's actually made by the same people who made Dota. For those of you unfamilar with Dota or Defence of the Ancients. The objective of the Dota is for each team to destroy the opponents' Ancients, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps".

I personally played Dota, but didn't get into it because people would never give me a chance to learn how to play. LoL is diffrent because you have a summoner lvl that increases as more games you play. So you are normally playing with and against people your own skill lvl. This game is free, but if you want to play for skins or play to get heros faster you can do that. So I invite you guys to come play a couple of games, see if you like it. So I have someone to play with :D, just click the link below and sign up.

Which is me and might I add that I have been playing since beta, I've watched this game stand up and walk like it was my child.

I've been on vacation from LoL for about a month, I own 75% of the champions and play with a competitive league clan, I have played LoL since open beta and before that was playing WC3 AoS' such as DotA and 3rd Shinobi Wars for 3-4 years, and was in the top ranking 3rd Shinobi Wars clan for a year before it dissolved.
Summoner name should be Amui, feel free to add me.

Besides a couple Starcraft RPG style games I've never played anything like this before. I've got a few games under my belt, still don't know what I'm doing, but it's pretty fun.

HoN > LoL

Well, LoL is a lot more casual, HoN is more competitive.

HoN honestly wasn't my cup of tea, didn't like it.

Although I do play LoL. I just started a few weeks ago and only got a few wins with me. The champion I use most is Akali. <3

HoN is just an entire port of DotA to a new engine with new graphics that you can hardly even see because someone decided "dark looks cool, lets make the entire game really dark!"
Sure, LoL may be more noob-friendly, but that does not mean its any less competitive? au contraire mon frere, Season 1 is on the verge of being released and things are about to get a whole lot more competitive around LoL than it ever was before.
Plus, i'd rather play new heroes than direct ports from DotA that i'd been playing for years before, and new items as well.
Also yes, i have played HoN before :yurp:

I've played both too, I didn't like LoL at all :( They took out a couple mechanics, and added the out-of-game leveling up stuff, which I thought took too much away from the actual gameplay. I guess it's just up to personal opinion, I would rather play the dota hero ports (there are only about 1/3 direct ports) because they've been played and balanced for like.. 6 years. The game is just so perfected I see no reason to change it.

Season 1 was actually released a while ago, anyone have any thought thus far about it? The most recent champion I bought was Vladamir, and I enjoy using him, I actually find his quite balanced. Although people saying his Q skill is going to get nerfed soon. :<

But uh.

Thoughts on Xin? Vlad? Galio, or how he might turn out?

Xin was just ridiculous before they nerfed him, luckily they did not overnerf him and he is still quite useful in the current metagame.
Vlad's Q is a tad bit overpowered for laning, 2 second cooldown nuke that heals you? the only thing i hate more than a Vlad in mid is Heimerdinger, they're planning to nerf Q slightly and buff his other moves to compensate for the change.
Galio sounds fine on paper, but until i see him in the current metagame i have no real opinions.

LeBlanc was released yesterday, methinks. Haven't played in a while. Thoughts?

Her early game single target DPS is overpowered right now, but in all she's okay.
