It's that time again for another addition to the Uzi Import Report! Always had an interests in mutants? Does Spiderman pique your interest, or does X-Men fit more of your fancy? This week we'll be looking into the Japanese super-powered mutant equivalent of both those series, and it's called Hamatora!

In this special series of articles, I aim to highlight some of the best that Chicago has to offer to fans of anime, manga, and Japanese culture. As a native of the Chicago suburbs, I’ve attended numerous conventions, large and small, and have always come away with great times and greater memories. No convention has given me as many memories, opportunities, friends, and great times as Anime Central, and this year was no exception at all.

Welcome to the return of the Uzi Import Report! Some of you may be on summer break for school, but prepare yourselves to get right back into it with this magical little series, The Irregular at Magic High School!

This was my first convention where I ever had down-time. Typically, the minute I receive the schedule, I cover it in highlighter marks for all the panels I intend to attend — often multiple during the same block of time. Then, it’s a race to see how I can possibly be in three places at once, or a competition to see which panel is the most important for me to attend.

At AnimeNEXT we conducted a round-table style interview which included Dani from all-fiction.net, Melissa from jrockrevolution.com, and me (Tempest) asking questions of three of the members of Rookiez is Punk’d: 2Rash, Shinnosuke and U. Takumi chose to stay out of the limelight and took pictures instead.

This week we'll be looking into one of Shonen's most legendary series, Hunter x Hunter (the 2011 anime to be more specific).
