You’ve survived the Christmas shopping, the overeating, and the drunken New Year’s parties… but can you survive another celebration? It’s time for another birthday party with 91.8 The Fan as we remember the day our mascot, Brie, and the radio station were born back on January 3rd, 2010! Ever since our launch we’ve dedicated this day to you, the fans who have made many of our dreams possible for the past few years.

Every year we talk about how amazing it is that this little idea was able to survive, and to this day we’re always pleasantly surprised that so many of you continue to spread the word and tune in day after day. Many of the staff have made life-long friends with one another and within the community. This year is all about strengthening our community the best we can.

We’ve heard your cries as you shout to the Heavens, asking for a specific app so you can take 91.8 The Fan on the go. We are proud to say that, as this post is typed, official apps for iOS and Android phones are going through beta testing. We’ll be throwing some glitter on them so they look pretty, but a functional app already exists behind the scenes and is on the way to your fingertips!

But what’s a party without free stuff?

We like that spunky attitude! We do indeed have free stuff for our a-dork-able readers. Let’s get to the swag:

• One grand prize winner will receive all four Sixh Opera CDs signed by Sixh himself, a copy of both Anime Love Hardcore 1 & 2 brought to you by Disko Warp, and four other randomly picked CDs already added to the station!
• Our second place winner will receive a copy of both Anime Love Hardcore 1 & 2 brought to you by Disko Warp, as well as four other randomly picked CDs already added to the station
• Our third place winner will receive a copy of William Kage’s Halfont. As well as four randomly picked CDs already added to the station.

How Do I Enter?

• Any person who comments on any post on the website between January 3rd, 2013 to February 3rd, 2013 will be entered to win. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win!
• Excessive spamming however will get you disqualified!
