Since I’ve only seen a few episodes of Penguin, I don’t know how everything here fits into the opening, but it’s very interesting. As far as I can tell, these three siblings are all together and the sister has an awesome penguin hat. The animation is all very fluid and I enjoy it quite a bit. I tend to enjoy most of the songs I share with you guys.

Nornir is one of those songs that I never really payed too much attention to the finer details. I didn’t know the name and I didn’t know who sings it. I just know that it’s very relaxing. Upon further research, Etsuko Yakushimaru is actually the person who does the OPs for another series I enjoy, Arakawa Under the Bridge. Usually I prefer harder rock songs, but this is nice to just sit back and relax to.

Like I said, I’ve only caught a few episodes of Penguin thus far. In the short time I spent watching, I couldn’t help but notice that most of the characters have some bizarre obsession with one thing or another. Nornir does one of my favorite things and OP can do, which is show off characters without spoiling too much, but I can only imagine that the people I haven’t seen in the series yet have some quirk about them as well. It definitely makes me want to watch more.
